The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) announced its 20th annual Design-Build Project/Team Award Winners earlier this month. In the Healthcare Facilities category, TriMark, Swinerton Builders, Lionakis, TK1SC, DPB Engineers, Inc., AHBE, RBF Consultants, Veneklasen, Kate Keating Associates, Inc. and Criterion Systems were honored the National Award of Merit for the High Desert Regional Health Center in Lancaster, CA.
The award showcases the best practices and celebrates the achievement of owners and design-build teams in nine categories – aviation, civic/assembly buildings, commercial/office buildings, industrial/process/research facilities, educational facilities, healthcare facilities, rehabilitation/renovation/restoration, transportation and water/wastewater. All projects were evaluated by a distinguished panel of industry experts and recognized for exemplary collaboration and project delivery.
TriMark would like to thank everyone involved for this great opportunity and congratulates all teams on such a big achievement! We were privileged to work with an outstanding and talented group of experts on this Healthcare Center project.
On November 3, one project in each of the categories will be named as a National Award of Excellence winner during DBIA’s Design-Build Conference & Expo in Denver, CO. Also, four National Awards of Excellence will be given for Design (one for architecture and one for engineering), Process and Teaming and a project will be honored as Project of the Year.
Stay tuned and good luck to all!
